Realizations.

I just thought I’d place them here. To keep my mind tidy. (Bullet points are snazzy, so let’s try them too.)

  • Sometimes, one is limited to believing certain things only because of the people around them. (The word limited, here, is a negative term.) The world is an enormous place, however. One should never be limited by the ideals of the people around them; there’re bound to be other people who think and feel things the same way one does.
  • The world is also small, despite. People you’ve just met could know people you’ve known for the longest time. …I’m not sure of how I feel about this. Slightly confused, maybe? Disoriented, sort of? Hmm.
  • Intelligent people don’t always know what they’re doing/saying. They may give the impression that they know something, but in reality, people are just intimidated/fully convinced by their stature/reputation/ethos that they forget to actually question their ideas.
  • Intelligent people can be just as immature as anyone.
  • I should stop placing people on pedestals.
  • Good people actually exist. (Who knew?)
  • Fear hinders everything.
  • I’m the kind of person who falls in love with ideas, with constructs of the mind, with mere abstractions, with the imaginary.
  • Split-second decisions are usually the ones that take you to where you want to go. These are the decisions you make without the luxury of weighing things, so you just end up following the entirety of your core— the epitome of what you actually believe in. These decisions are the ones that matter the most in determining the kind of person you are, the kind of person you can be.
  • I would never be complete without my friends.
